The Ukrainian weather forecast centre has said that there will be a high risk of fire outbreaks throughout the country until the end of the week.

According to figures published on its Web site on Wednesday, on August 11-15 daytime temperatures in Kyiv will be 35-39 degrees Celsius. Kyiv region and other regions, apart from those in the west of the country, will remain a high fire risk zone.

Extreme heat is expected on August 11-12 in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions – 35-39 degrees Celsius, and in eastern and southern regions, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions – 40-42 degrees Celsius.
