You're reading: Tajik rescuers find two of three lost Ukrainian mountain climbers

Rescuers of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Tajikistan have found two of three Ukrainian climbers lost in the mountains of Pamir, press secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Oleksandr Dikusarov told the Ukrainian News agency.

He said that the rescue operation was launched on Thursday morning.

One of the found climbers was hospitalized and his health state is satisfactory.The second climber helps the rescuers to find the third one, who fell down of a cliff.To provide help to the Ukrainians, consular representative of the Ukraine’s embassy to Uzbekistan flew to the site.

Media reports say a group of three Ukrainian citizens climbed the mountains and the head of the group fell from a cliff on July 31.The other two climbers tried to find him two days.
