A miner died and another was injured during the transportation of coal at a depth of 610 meters at the Dymytrova coalmine owned by the state-run Krasnoarmiyskvuhillia in the town of Dymytriv in Donetsk region on August 18, the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's press service has reported.

The miner died when a towing hook attached to a mine car broke, it said. The injured worker was hospitalized at a local hospital.
