Three documents on cooperation will be signed during a visit by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to Germany, German Ambassador to Ukraine, Hans-Jurgen Heimsoeth has said.

"They are expected to sign three documents at the level of ministers, in particular, an agreement on social security and cooperation in combating organized crime and terrorism, as well as a joint statement on the extending of a project on the advanced training of managers," the ambassador said in an interview published in a Friday issue of Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper.

According to the diplomat, the two countries’ officials will discuss a series of issues of EU-Ukraine relations, the preparation of the agreements on free trade and association, as well as the continuation of democratic processes in Ukraine.

In addition, Germany expects new impetus to the development of the Ukrainian-German economic relations, Heimsoeth said

"I hope that the visit will give new impetus to investment and trade," he said.

As reported, President Yanukovych will make an official visit to Germany on August 30.
