In the early hours of August 29 automatic protection of power transmission lines responded to rain, hail and wind gusts of 20-25 meters/second and cut power supplies to some population centers in five administrative districts of Poltava region.
According to the statement by the Emergency Situations Ministry, teams of the regional power distribution company are engaged in the works to renew the electricity supplies.
The chief regional office of the Emergency Situations Ministry follows the development of the situation.
