The Crimean Parliament will convene on Sept. 6 in an unscheduled session to discuss school issues and price hikes for energy supplies. The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will hold an extraordinary session on Monday, September 6, the parliament's press center told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.

Speaker of the Crimean parliament Volodymyr Kostiantynov signed a corresponding decree on Tuesday, the press center said.

According to the document, the agenda of the session includes the approval of the membership of the republican election commission and the issue of the general membership (number) of deputies of city and district councils of the autonomy.

In addition, the Crimean parliament will consider amendments to the Crimean budget for 2010, the republican program "School Bus" for 2009-2010, and the Crimean republican program "Teacher" at the unscheduled session.

The agenda also includes hearing a statement on the increase of gas and housing and utilities tariffs.
