Lviv City Council will put 14 land plots worth almost Hr 140 million up for sale at an auction scheduled for September 21, Deputy Chief of the department for natural resources and land relations Iryna Hrymak has said.

"We put 14 land plots up for sale at auction for housing, office and industrial construction," she said at a press conference on Thursday.

Hrymak noted that at present no applications for participation in the tender have been received.

According to her, the city budget received Hr 13.43 million from land sales this year, which is only 10% of the planned revenues. Hrymak said this was due to the absence of demand for land.

At the same time, she added that the budget received Hr 37 million in land rent.
