You're reading: Ukrzaliznytsia forms commission to investigate cause of bus-train accident

The State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has set up a commission to investigate the cause of a collision between a passenger bus and a train at a railway crossing in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s press service reported that a preliminary theory on the cause of the accident was the violation of traffic rules by the driver of the bus.

As reported, 40 people were killed and ten others were injured in the collision between a train and a passenger bus on the Nikopol-Marhanets railroad in Dnipropetrovsk region on October 12.
