You're reading: Azarov: Government to allocate Hr 100,000 to each family of train-bus collision victims

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is planning to allocate Hr 100,000 to each family of those killed and injured in a collision between a train and a passenger bus in Dnipropetrovsk region, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said, while opening a government meeting on Tuesday.

"Today a decision will be taken on the allocation of money from the reserve fund for funerals and assistance to the families of the victims – Hr 100,000 per family," he said.

As reported, 40 people were killed and ten others were injured in the collision that occurred on the Kryvy Rih-Zaporizhia railroad early on Tuesday. The collision between an Etalon bus carrying around 50 passengers and a train occurred at an unmanned railway crossing.
