The Pakistani and Ukrainian sides are dealing with the issues of the identification of Ukrainians killed in an air crush in Karachi and the repatriation of their remains to Ukraine.

"At the moment we are taking measures to identify the victims and repatriate [their remains] to Ukraine," the press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleksandr Dykusarov said at a briefing on Wednesday.

He stressed that the names of the killed have been determined and their relatives have been informed of their deaths.

According to Dykusarov, the ministry is continuing to monitor the situation.

As reported, in the early hours of November 28 an Ilyushin Il-76 airplane crashed in Karachi (Pakistan). The aircraft was owned by the Georgian airline company Sunway. As a result, eight crewmembers, including seven Ukrainian citizens, were killed.
