Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is disappointed with Europe and its leaders that enthusiastically supported the orange revolution in Ukraine before and now laud the stability of the current regime.

"Now they [European leaders] come to Ukraine and make compliments about achieved stability. One should call a spade a spade. Unwanted journalists are being killed, justice is strangled, the opposition is tried in this country. This is graveyard stability," she said in an interview with Italy’s La Repubblica, her personal website reported on Wednesday.

She found it unfair that European countries ignore facts of the groundless criminal prosecution of the Ukrainian opposition.

"I wish the United States and Europe would not greatly legalize this regime. I can understand their national interests but it is unfair to sign agreements with [Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych and ignore repression," she said.
