Vasyl Dzharty, the chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers and the leader of the Crimean branch of the Regions Party, has been recognized as the most influential politician in Crimea in 2010, according to a survey of experts conducted by the Crimean independent center of political scientists and journalists.

"The Crimean premier received 9.7 points out of a possible 10 – the highest approval rating over the entire period of such surveys conducted since 1997. Together with his team, he completely reformatted Crimean policy," the center said in a statement.

First Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers Pavlo Burlakov, the closest companion of Dzharty and his right-hand man, is second in the ranking (6.86 points).

At the same time, another senior official in Crimea, Chairman of the Crimean Supreme Council Volodymyr Konstantynov, is only in third place (6.02 points).
