Azerbaijan’s capital of Baku could be twinned with the Ukrainian city of Odesa, the press service of Odesa City Council reported on Wednesday.
This issue was discussed by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli and Odesa Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev.
They also talked about the establishment of a park named in honor of Azeri President Heydar Aliyev in Odesa.
The talks on this issue continue, and the Republic of Azerbaijan has offered to cover the costs of arranging such a park, the press service said.
