Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) has stopped flying Ukrainian passengers to the resorts of Egypt.

"Our main partner travel agencies have stopped sending tourists there," UIA Vice President Serhiy Fomenko told Interfax-Ukraine.

He also said that the company had fulfilled all the requests by the Emergencies Ministry and the Foreign Ministry to return Ukrainians from Egypt.

"We have fulfilled all the tasks set by the Emergencies Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There have been no new ones so far," Fomenko said.

As reported, on Feb. 4 through Feb. 6, UIA made a number of charter flights, which brought Ukrainian citizens from Cairo, Taba, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh to Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa.
