You're reading: Parliament ratifies Ukraine-Brazil Agreement on Air Traffic

The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has ratified an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of Brazil on air traffic. A total of 304 of the 417 MPs registered in the hall voted for a law on ratification on Tuesday.

The ratification of this agreement will secure the creation and functioning of a reliable legal mechanism at the international level for realizing and launching the process of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Brazil, with the further development of cooperation in the sphere of air transport, and will facilitate the development of business ties and the further expansion of the geography of flights of Ukrainian airlines.

As reported, the governments of Ukraine and Brazil signed an agreement on air traffic in Kyiv on Dec. 2, 2009.
