Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said he expects the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a law on pension reform in March this year.

"I hope that the law will be adopted in March," he said during a hotline organized by the Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukraine newspaper in Kyiv on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Tigipko said that it was impossible to implement pension reform if no steps were taken to bring salaries out of the shadows. In this connection, he said that a bill was being drafted under his leadership, which, in his opinion, will facilitate the legalization of jobs and salaries.
