The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has not yet received an official answer about the location of Palestinian Dirar Abu Sisi, ministry spokesperson Viktoria Kushnir has told Interfax-Ukraine.

She noted that the Interior Ministry had submitted respective requests, including one to Israel, but an official answer had not yet been received.

"We will provide information as soon as we get an answer to our request," Kushnir said.

Earlier, Radio Liberty, referring to Israeli human rights activists, reported that Palestinian Dirar Abu Sisi was put into an Israeli prison on the same day he vanished from a Kharkiv-Kyiv train in Ukraine – on February 19, 2011, but there is a court ruling in Israel banning the release of information about him.
