Bandar Seri Begawan - Ukraine calls on the parties in the Libyan conflict to enter a peaceful dialog, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.

"The Ukrainian side strongly supports the demands of the international community regarding an immediate ceasefire and calls on the parties in the conflict to enter a peaceful dialog with a view to finding mutually acceptable ways to settle the conflict," he told the faculty of the University of Brunei Darussalam in Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei) on Wednesday.

Yanukovych said that Ukraine expected that in accordance with a decision taken by the international community, no military occupation of Libyan territory would be allowed.
