Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has warned humanitarian section ministers that unless they change their attitude to work, they will share the fate of Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Viktor Tykhonov, who was dismissed recently.

"The humanitarian section of the government deserves a very low mark," the president said at the Council of the Regions in Livadia on Friday.

Yanukovych addressed Culture Minister Mykhailo Kulyniak, Education, Science, Youth and Sport Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk and Chairman of the State Service of Youth and Sports Ravil Safiullin: "If you continue this policy … you will end up the same as your predecessors at the last meeting of the government," the president told the ministers.
