Yalta, June 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has forecast that political campaigning in Ukraine in autumn before the parliamentary elections could complicate the work of the Ukrainian parliament.

"I think political processes in Ukraine will become more active, especially in autumn," Lytvyn told reporters in Yalta on June 4.

He stressed that the actions of political forces and individual deputies would become "more vivid," as by that time they will decide whether they will run under party lists, or in majority districts.

"Of course this will complicate work of the Verkhovna Rada, but I think, on the other hand, we will take intelligent and responsible decisions," Lytvyn said.

While commenting on a possibility of the Communist Party of Ukraine leaving the parliamentary majority, Lytvyn said that a situational majority always exists in the parliament.

"There is a backbone, and it will [continue to] exist, but every faction has the right to take its own decisions," he said.
