Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has failed to answer a question from reporters about the owners of a range of facilities on the territory of his Mezhyhiria residence.

"If you need the owners, look for them. I’m sure they will be found. They sometimes come to Ukraine," Yanukovych said at a press conference on Friday, when asked about the owners of such facilities in Mezhyhiria as a tennis court, a plane hanger, a yacht club, swimming pools, and a club house.

When asked why previously he invited only selected reporters to his residence, the president answered: "Like any person, I invite only those whom I want to see."

At the same time he noted: "You know what their own house means to every person. It is a sacred place that people would like keep others away from. I’m the same as all. I’m human and, maybe, you would never find a president who would invite [reporters] to his bedroom."
