Third Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko, a witness in the Russian gas supply contract case against former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, has asked the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv to consider the possibility of questioning Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller.

"The involvement of these people [in the case] is an obligatory condition for establishing all of the circumstances of the agreement… Please consider the possibility of questioning Putin and Miller," he said after his interrogation at the Pechersky District Court in Kyiv on Wednesday.
