Dictatorship Resistance Committee demands early parliamentary and presidential elections and resignation of Kyiv city authorities.

"We demand the holding of early election of Kyiv Mayor and Kyiv city council head, we demand to stop illegal prosecution of opposition leaders Yulia Tymoshenko, Yuriy Lutsenko and other political prisoners," reads a resolution approved a rally of opposition in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Vice Speaker Mykola Tomenko who read the resolution said that this is reaction to actions of Kyiv authorities.

He implied a claim to Kyiv District Administrative Court to ban the holding of mass rallies of opposition on the Independence Day.

The committee also demands to cancel power decision that worsen the social and economic situation, impose a moratorium on the sale of land and international agreements, which foresee the sale of Ukrainian property.
