Ahead of Ukraine's Independence Day, advertising panels were replaced in Lviv with posters reading "The Regime Must Go Down!" and "Power Is in Our Hands, Buy Food for the Last Time, Government Launching New Reforms!"
Also, leaflets were pasted up depicting President Viktor Yanukovych with the same inscription: "Power Is in Our Hands…"
A report was posted on the opir.info website saying that about a dozen billboards had been replaced and several thousand leaflets were pasted up by representatives of the "autonomous nationalists."
Law enforcement services have not been commenting on the situation thus far.
