You're reading: Tymoshenko’s behavior in court angers prosecutors

A state prosecutor in the Russian gas supply contract case, Lilia Frolova, has said the behavior of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in court is unacceptable.

"Threats against the prosecution were made today again. I think that it is unacceptable [behavior from] such a person as Yulia Tymoshenko, who occupied one of the highest positions in the state, and who always positioned herself as a person for whom European values are the highest values," Frolova told reporters on Tuesday.

"I think that when the arguments end, the insults and threats begin," Frolova added.
