Health of former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko has worsened, he had three attacks of acute pain during the night, the press service of the People's Self Defense Party quoted the ex-minister's wife Iryna Lutsenko.
"He complains of persistent pain in the abdomen and nausea. He finds it hard to walk, Yura drags his leg," the wife said on Tuesday.
"At night, my husband barely survived three attacks of terrible pain, he was treated by simple painkillers. In spite of this, her husband was taken at 0800 a regular examination to the diagnostic center," she added.
The press service added that a council of physicians of the Health Ministry attended the detention center in the afternoon to decide what diagnosis to put into the medical report on the ex-minister’s examination conducted at the Kyiv City Diagnostic Centre on Sept 15-20.
"Yuriy Lutsenko asked the committee members to examine him again after the council. It is still unknown whether they will grant his request and provide him with the assistance. They are in a hurry, because they must provide the documents and the final diagnosis to the court," Iryna Lutsenko summed up.
