Crimean Prime Minister Anatoliy Mohyliov has said that he is planning to rejoin the Regions Party.

At his first press conference as the new leader of the Crimean government, which was held in Simferopol on Wednesday, when asked whether he intends rejoin the party, Mohyliov said: "Without a doubt, of course. My current post allows me to be a party member… Given that I was dismissed from the Interior Ministry, then, of course I can be a member of the party."

At the same time, when asked whether he plans to lead the Crimean branch of the Regions Party, he noted that this matter was in the competence of the Crimean branch of the Regions Party.

"The question of being nominated as leader of the Crimean branch of the party is a question for the conference of the Crimean branch of the party, therefore, this requires a decision on who will be the leader. I will fulfill any decision taken by conference delegates," Mohyliov said.

As reported, former Crimean Prime Minister Vasyl Dzharty simultaneously served as chairman of the Crimean branch of the Regions Party.
