The amateurish actions of the current government have brought Ukraine to the verge of default, leader of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party Natalia Korolevska has said.

Korolevska said this at a rally in Lviv on Thursday, the USDP press service reported.

Hundreds of entrepreneurs and Chornobyl cleanup veterans were rallying outside Lviv Regional State Administration demanding that the government observe social guarantees as required by the law, the press service said. Residents of Lviv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia regions and other regions of Ukraine took part in the rally organized by the Vpered (Go Forward !) civil movement.

"The government is dangerous because of its inadequateness in the face of modern challenges, and it doesn’t seem to notice that the country is on the verge of default. Today’s reshuffles in the government are being used to throw dust in the eyes of Ukrainians. The whole team should be replaced," the MP said.

"Today, we must unite and defend our rights. Ukraine’s future depends on this," Korolevska said.
