Yevheniya Tymoshenko, the daughter of Ukraine's imprisoned former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Iryna Lutsenko, the wife of Ukraine's jailed former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, and Valentyna Ivaschenko, the wife of former Acting Defense Minister Valeriy Ivaschenko, are demanding a meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, during which they intend to discuss the prosecutions of their relatives.

"We are insisting on the need for a personal meeting between the president and three of us. You [Yanukovych] are responsible for all the evils that are happening to our relatives," Iryna Lutsenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
She said that the relatives of convicted Ukrainian opposition members intended to ask the head of state what concrete steps he is ready to take to resolve the situation
