Representatives of the non-governmental organization Freedom House have arrived at the Kachanivska penal colony, where former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko is serving her sentence.
As reported by an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the delegation arrived at the prison in a Hyundai minibus and did not stop to talk with the media.
Acting Head of Kharkiv Regional Department of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine Yevhen Barash said in a phone conversation that the premises for the meeting between Tymoshenko and the Freedom House representatives were to be selected as soon as the delegation arrives.
A rally to support Tymoshenko is going on outside the prison.
