You're reading: CEC denies registration to four more contenders for Ukraine’s presidency

The Central Election Commission declined on Monday to register four applicants as presidential candidates. The candidates haven't supplied all the documents required for registration and election deposits, the Central Election Commission said.

In particular, the CEC denied registration to Leonid Osypchuk and Olena Bessarab, whose documents were not in line with legislation and who didn’t submit the full amount of election deposit. Apart from this, the commission dismissed the application of Viktoriya Polischuk, who is only 31, and that of Roman Rekalo, who submitted the document, which were not in compliance with the legislations. Besides, the two latter contenders didn’t provide the election deposits.
