Ukrainian experts do not rule out that presidential candidate and Front for Change leader Arseniy Yatseniuk could support incumbent Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in the second round of presidential elections.

"I don't rule out the possibility of agreement with Tymoshenko, and if such agreement is reached and Yatseniuk is promised what he is interested in and what will prompt him to support Tymoshenko in public, then he'll do this in public," Director of the Penta Center for Applied Studies Volodymyr Fesenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Nov. 17.

He also said that there are many people among Yatseniuk's supporters who are ready to vote for Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych as Ukraine's president.

"As for Yanukovych, I doubt that [Yatseniuk] will support Yanukovych in public," Fesenko said.

President of the Sofia Center for Social Studies Andriy Yermolayev, in turn, said that Yatseniuk does not have very "mobilized voters" and that Yatseniuk would reject the idea of supporting any of presidential candidates in public.

"It seems to me that Yatseniuk won't call on anybody to do anything and he will adopt a neutral position," he said.

Yermolayev also said that Yatseniuk would actively participate in "any combinations and compromises after the elections."
