Ukraine's parliament speaker and presidential candidate Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that he has not got vaccinated against the flu, and is not planning to do so.

He said this at a meeting with journalists in Kherson on Wednesday, an Interfax-Ukraine reporter said.

"I’m a fatalist. I get on without paying any attention to the epidemic. As for anti-flu masks: I’m sure that politicians should now take their masks off, rather than put them on," Lytvyn said.
