Candidate for Ukrainian president Arseniy Yatseniuk has said he is planning to win through to the second round of the January 17, 2010 presidential election together with Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych.
He said this live on television in Kremenchuk on Wednesday.
Yatseniuk said that the presidential run-off would be unavoidable.
"I will most likely win through to the run-off with Yanukovych. He has a high level of support. Yanukovych is currently the leader in terms of electoral support. Yanukovych will definitely win through to the run-off," he said.
