Khmelnytsky, December 28 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko regards it as his main task to make it for the runoff in presidential elections and prevent vote-rigging.

"We should now be speaking of how to make it for the runoff, how to prevent the vote-rigging that is being planned," he said talking to voters in Khmelnytsky region.

Speaking of future parliamentary elections, he called on them "not to repeat the mistake which many people made two years ago during the parliamentary elections when Ukrainians voted for the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) – this white brotherhood."

Yuschenko said he is proud that "there is only one ideological party in the country – Our Ukraine."

"In two months you will see that it will be the No. 1 party in Ukraine. I give my word to you that we will take the first place in local elections and then hold parliamentary elections in which we will also place first," he said.

Speaking of the contradictions inside of Our Ukraine the party leader expressed the opinion that Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko delivered a blow to his political force back in 2005.

"It was not [the leader of the Party of Regions Viktor] Yanukovych who delivered a blow to Our Ukraine but Tymoshenko who declared in 2005 that there are corrupt officials on Our Ukraine," he said.

He said that currently BYT is one of the problems "for lawful life in Ukraine."
