Rich, educated lawyer fails to catch on in first national bid

Ukrainian presidential candidate Oleh Riabokon, 36, has something in common with Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, George W. Bush and now Barack Obama.

Like these American presidents, he studied at Harvard University. Before that, he received a law degree from Ukraine’s top school – Kyiv National Shevchenko University and received a master’s of law from Georgetown University. He founded Ukraine’s top law firm, Magisters. Despite all of these accomplishments, his support base is less than 1 percent.
