The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc will only recognize Victor Yanukovych as the winner of the presidential elections in Ukraine if it fails to prove the electoral violations that led to this victory in court, Andriy Shkil, a member of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction in the Ukrainian parliament, told a briefing in the parliament on Feb. 9.

"We will only recognize this victory if we fail to prove in courts the violations that have led to Yanukovych's victory," Shkil said.

Shkil said the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc questions the election outcome in over 1,000 polling stations and will contest electoral violations, specifically, the results of voting from home without a doctor's certificate.
