Kyiv, February 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The winner of Ukraine's presidential election, Viktor Yanukovych, has not offered Sergiy Tigipko the post of prime minister.

"There were no talks on certain posts and on premiership," Tigipko said on the Fifth TV Channel on Tuesday evening.

He said that he had met with Yanukovych twice after the election to discuss issues of the country’s development.

Tigipko said that he had reached no agreement with the parliamentary faction of the Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense Bloc regarding their support of his candidacy for the post of prime minister.

"I’m not very pleased with the situation in Our Ukraine, as there are little talks on reform and what needs to be done in the country, but instead a lot of deputy groups. I’m afraid that there will be a lot of talks on posts, some ministries and departments," he said.
