You're reading: Lytvyn Bloc to decide on joining new coalition after meeting with Yanukovych

The Bloc of Lytvyn will decide if it will join the new coalition in parliament after meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, the leader of the bloc's faction in parliament, Ihor Sharov, told reporters on Tuesday.

He said that a meeting between the leaders of factions and Yanukovych, which was scheduled for Tuesday, had been postponed.

Sharov said that the faction was currently studying the conditions for the coalition’s formation set by the Regions Party.

As reported, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn on Tuesday declared the collapse of the ruling coalition of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, the Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense Bloc and the Bloc of Lytvyn.
