There will be no united opposition in Ukraine in the near future, director of the PR group Polittech Taras Berezovets has said.

"I see at least two shadow governments [of Yulia Tymoshenko and Arseniy Yatseniuk], and maybe [a shadow governments of] Victor Yuschenko and Viacheslav Kyrylenko in the future. And they will work as they worked in the coalition - there will be no cooperation between them. There will be infighting, there will be mutual competition and criticism of each other, and maybe even more [criticism of each other] than of the government," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on March 17.

Director of the Kyiv Center for Political and Conflict Studies Mykhailo Pohrebynsky and Head of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms Ihor Koliushko also took part in the press conference. The experts agreed that head of the opposition government Serhiy Sobolev would not seek the post of prime minister in a future government.

"It would be a mistake to nominate Serhiy [Sobolev] for this post," Pohrebynsky said and noted that with all advantages and knowledge Sobolev has "a clearly seen negative charisma" and that's why such a man can't be a leader.

Berezovets agreed with Pohrebynsky that Sobolev is not seeking the post of prime minister in a future official government. He drew attention to the fact that there were not many politicians who actually wanted to head the opposition government.

Koliushko also said that Sobolev would not become prime minister.

"It seems to me that he is not a candidate for the post of real prime minister when they [BYT, members of the opposition] come to power," Koliushko said.
