The Ukrainian government has defined the authorities of the first vice prime minister and the vice ministers, according to which Vice Prime Minister Sergiy Tigipko can perform the duties of First Vice Prime Minister Andriy Kliuev during his absence.

This is stipulated in a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 17, 2010, which has been posted on the government's official Web site.

The first vice prime minister, in his turn, can stand in for Tigipko.

Interchangeability of authorities has also been established for Vice Prime Ministers Borys Kolesnikov and Volodymyr Semynozhenko.

In the case of Volodymyr Sivkovych's absence, Viktor Tykhonov will perform his duties, Viktor Slauta will stand in for Kolesnikov, and Tykhonov will replace Slauta
