President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has appointed MP Yuriy Miroshnychenko of the Party of Regions his representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

A relevant decree was posted on the president’s Web site.

Miroshnychenko is currently heading a subcommittee for the organization and activities of justice agencies.

Miroshnychenko, born in 1970, served as advisor at the department for economic policy of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in 1998-1999.

Since 2006 he has been member of the parliament of the fifth and sixth convocations.
