The Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists (CUN) has asked Polish Ambassador Jacek Kluczkowski to give the Poland's official position on the actions of the Warsaw Society of Victims of Ukrainian Nationalist Movement, which they claim are directed at inflaming international and interreligious animosity. On April 8 the NGO "Russian-speaking Ukraine," headed by MP Vadym Kolesnichenko (Regions Party), and the Polish Society of the Victims of the Ukrainian Nationalist Movement organized an exhibition entitled "The Volyn massacre: Polish and Jewish victims of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army" in Ukrainian House in Kyiv, reads CUN's open address, which was released by its press service.

"During the years of Ukraine’s independence, Ukraine and Poland have formed very friendly and good-neighbourly relations. Polish presidents supported Ukraine’s yearning for sovereignty, and Poland was the first state to recognize Ukraine’s independence – it has been the best friend and defender of our state on the European stage. The Ukrainian people remember and respect this, and feel deep gratitude to the Polish people," reads the text of the address, signed by the CUN Head Oleksiy Ivchenko.

"The Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists calls you in the future not to tolerate such provocative actions from Polish non-governmental organizations, [actions] aimed at worsening good-neighbourly relations and inflaming international animosity in Ukraine," read the address.
