Ukrainian Vice-Prime Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said he is not planning to resign.

He announced this at a parliament session on Friday, while speaking during an hour of questions to the government with respect to reform of the country’s tax system.

Asked by BYгT faction member Oleh Liashko why he will not resign if he several times expressed disagreement with certain decisions and proposals by the Cabinet of Ministers, Tigipko said: "With respect to my resignation: the point is that it’s necessary to maximally do what can be done. It’s possible to agree or disagree with anything, but it’s necessary to work."
