The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, will hold an official meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Viktor Tykhonov told journalists on Wednesday.
"There will be an official meeting with the president and the prime minister," Tykhonov said.
Levy Bereg (Left Bank), a Kyiv-based weekly newspaper, quoted Tykhonov as saying that the status of the president’s meeting with Kirill would be "official" and that Prime Minister Mykola Azarov would attend.
