Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Major General Serhiy Yarovy Commander of the Main Department of the Internal Troops of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.
A corresponding order was posted on the official Web site of the president on Thursday.
Under another order, the president dismissed Volodymyr Vorobyov from this position.
Major General Yarovy was in 2007 appointed the commander of the Southern Territorial Command of the Internal Troops of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.
