You're reading: President approves staff of commission on citizenship

The new composition of the presidential commission on citizenship has been approved.

This is stipulated in Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s decree on issues of the presidential commission on citizenship posted on the Web site of the head of state on Thursday.

The decree introduced amendments to the provisions on the presidential commission on citizenship. In particular, the clause that the number of commission members should not exceed 13 people has been excluded.

Yanukovych included 18 people in the staff of the commission (four people included in the commission by consent). First Deputy Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration and Presidential Representative at the Constitutional Court Olena Lukash was appointed the head of the commission.
