Ukrainian First Vice Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev has said that the Regions Party is ready to form coalitions with the People's Party in local councils after the local elections.
"We will work with you and form coalitions," he said in his welcoming remarks to the participants of the congress of the People’s Party in Kyiv on Friday.
"I hope that we will be working together for the benefit of our state for years," Kliuyev said.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn heads the People’s Party of Ukraine.
The Regions Party is led by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. Its honorary chairman is Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
