The parliamentary faction of the Our Ukraine-People's Self Defense (OU-PSD) Bloc will soon take a decision on joining the ruling coalition, with new arrangements, the signing of coalition agreements and reform plans, a coalition member, OU-PSD MP David Zhvaniya, has said live on ТVі Channel.

A statement posted on his personal Web site says that the lawmaker is confident that it is necessary to reformat the parliamentary majority with the participation of OU-PSD, because discussions are still being held about the legitimate way of creating the coalition.

"On the one hand, OU-PSD’s joining the majority will legitimize it, and on the other, this will help conduct progressive reforms whose implementation is being delayed by the Communist Party," Zhvaniya said.

He said that he did not see OU-PSD in opposition.

The ruling coalition in parliament currently consists of the Regions Party, the Communist Party, the Bloc of Lytvyn, and individual MPs from the factions of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and OU-PSD.
