Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has promised to render assistance to representatives of the Estonian diaspora in Ukraine in allocating a building for a Estonian cultural center in Kyiv, the prime minister's press service has reported.

The press service said that Estonian Parliament Speaker Ene Ergma made a respective request at a meeting with Azarov in Tallinn on Tuesday.

"The Estonian diaspora in Ukraine numbers about 4,000 people. There is a cultural community in Kyiv, which has recently faced the problem of the absence of a building," Ergma said.

Azarov, in turn, promised to resolve this issue.
